Innovation in system gastronomy

It is clear that the classic burger in many variations is the focus of the offer. But Peter Pane is going down an extremely innovative path, because the vegetarian or vegan range is large and is constantly being expanded. Peter Jung, the managing partner of Peter Pane, even goes as far as to say that he “… personally assume that in ten to 20 years almost no one will eat meat anymore.”

Why a parasol lighting?

Outdoor catering has become an important criterion alongside delivery services and is even becoming more important. The company is also taking an innovative approach here: in many of the 48 stores, Lume-1 will be responsible for lighting the tables outside the restaurants. Quickly mounted under the sunshades, easy to use and flexible in application, Lume-1 smart luminaires continue the successful mood of the indoor area outside.

We asked Moritz Lechner, Head of Engineering at Peter Pane, a few questions about Lume-1:

What were the criteria for installing Lume-1?

We were able to easily retrofit the sunshade lighting in each store, all without running any cables.

How many Lume-1s are in use at Peter Pane?

At the moment we have some lumes in almost all restaurants with outdoor areas. Total 72 sets of 2.

What is your experience with Lume-1 parasol lighting?

The guests and the franchisees like the atmosphere that Lume-1 spreads exceptionally well. Our maintenance team has tested them and found them to be good for use in the relatively tough system gastronomy!
